| Job Description | •Responsible to operate DP system as per operation requirement •Responsible for the continual on –duty – scheme in the DP control room. •Ensure that all DP system data are recorded. •Assist in the set up of the DP system operating parameters. •Assist in performing maintenance on DP equipments •Assist in Carrying out frequent inspection on DP system sensors, computers and references. • Should be familiar and implement IMCA requirements related to DP system. |
| Skills Required | •High School Diploma or equivalent nautical science degree / diploma •A Min. qualification required is Chief Mate FG COC II/2 with No limitations. •Full and unlimited DP certificates from Nautical institute •Holding IMCA DP log book in which DP experience are recorded. •Minimum of 1 years’ experience as a DPO/2nd officer on DP vessels same capacity. •Good English Communication skills. •Good Knowledge of safe practices related to DP operation •Capable of correcting nautical charts and keeping update of publication •Knowledge of preparing passage plan for the intended voyage. •Knowledge of bridge equipment and DP system. |
