Mechanical Integration Technician Jobs in Abu Dhabi, UAE
Key Responsibilities :
• Assist in the integration of payload systems into the UAV, including mounting, wiring, and configuring payloads to ensure proper operation.
• Conduct ground testing of UAV systems, including payloads, sensors, avionics, and communication systems, to verify proper functionality.
• Support flight test preparation and execution, ensuring all systems, particularly payloads, are fully integrated and operational for flight.
• Operate test equipment during ground and flight testing, monitor system performance, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Collaborate with engineers and senior technicians to review test plans and ensure all systems are ready for integration and testing.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining test setups, ensuring all equipment is calibrated and functioning correctly.
Education & Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent, with additional vocational training or certification in mechanical technology preferred, with more than 7 years of experience.
• Previous experience in cointegration and test.
• Familiarity UAV Systems.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools for all test necessities of UAVs.
• Knowledge of adhesive bonding and assembly methods for composite structures.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow written instructions and work in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues related to composite fabrication.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement in all aspects of composite manufacturing operations.
• Certification in LEAN, 3P and 5S are desirable.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings.
