Mechanical Fitter Full Time

Day- to-day operations:
•
Maintenance fault diagnosis and repair, including systematic strip down and re-building of mechanical equipment’s and components relating to, but not limited to, cranes, winches, pumps, compressors, valves, machine tools and other similar plants.
•
Ensure for the spare required in advance to reduce the procurement of the same and to reduce the downtime.
•
Maintenance and repairing of syncrolift and rexroth shiplifts, Lower sheave & Upper Sheave, Gear box overhauling, Wire rope replacement.
•
Installation of Mechanical plants and equipment’s
•
Maintain good working relationship with workers, appointed foreman, supervisors and management.
•
Perform duties of a Foreman as required / appointed for individual projects.
•
Ensure materials are of required standard prior to use, reporting damages when required.
•
Work within allocated timescale to meet department targets
•
Attend any training for any activity required by the department.
•
Maintain good housekeeping in all work areas.
•
Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.
