Electrical Tradesman  Full Time

  Assembles, installs, tests and maintains electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.

• Determines the cause of operating errors and decides what to do about it.
• Installs equipment, machines, wiring or programs to meet specifications.
• Conducts tests and inspections of equipment, services or processes to evaluate.
• Performs routine maintenance on equipment about quality or performance.
• Determines when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
• Assembles, installs, tests and maintains the electrical equipment and appliances.
• Diagnoses malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of breakdown and correct the problem.
• Connects wires to circuit breakers, switches, or other components.
• Assists during emergencies by operating floodlights and generators and related emergency activities.
• Promotes relevant equipment, policies, procedures and strategies.
• Implement sustainable practices/ policies in Facility Management operations.

• Industrial Training Certificate

Professional Experience:

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a Healthcare Organizations maintenance department or similar institution.
• Knowledge of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), Power Supplies, Generators and related equipment which is used for medical equipment.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) standard.
• Ability to speak, read and write English.
