Specialist Anaesthetist Full Time

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

Provide patient-centric and evidence based consultant-level care by ensuring compliance to ethical and professional standards set by the company and regulatory authorities

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

1. Provide a comprehensive professional and ethical quality clinical services to patients in an effective and efficient manner
2. Monitor and manage clinical risks associated with direct patient care
3. Ensure compliance with clinical governance and quality management standards
4. Maintain accurate medical records
5. Ensure excellence in medical practice is maintained by focusing on continuous professional development of self and others
6. Maintain integrity in professional services by executing clinical services in an ethical and responsible manner
7. Must be able to work with a Multidisciplinary approach

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Essential:

Basic medical degree and completion of a specialty qualification/education programme (fellowship/diploma) recognised by the relevant UAE healthcare authority

Desired:

• Certification and registration in a speciality recognised by relevant UAE healthcare authority
• Active and valid life support certification (e.g. BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP)
• Degree educated in Anesthesia with a minimum 3-5 years Residency Training
• Expertise in IVF is mandatory for this role with strong experience working in an Obstetrics & Gynecological environment.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is mandatory.
• Experience in Pain Management would be an added advantage
• Ability to facilitate and support clinical clerkship training for medical students and junior colleagues
• Proficiency to independantly manage an electronic medical record system

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

At least 3 – 5 years’ post qualification experience at Specialist level (independent of country)

Desired: At lea.t 1 year Specialist level experience from a Tier 1 country as specified by the UAE healthcare regulator
