Provide Network Operations Center (NOC) coordination and technical support for FEED and Detail Engineering projects in the Oil & Gas sector.
Monitor and assist in the resolution of instrumentation, control, and communications incidents affecting project deliverables.
Serve as the central point of contact for monitoring, escalation, and coordination of technical issues across disciplines to ensure minimal project disruption.
Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely incident response, ticketing, and root-cause analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and triage technical alerts, alarms, and incidents related to instrumentation, control systems, and communications within project environments.
Coordinate incident response, escalation paths, and resolution activities with engineering disciplines (process, electrical, instrumentation, IT/OT, automation, and cyber security).
Maintain and update NOC dashboards, incident logs, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide situational awareness to project leadership.
Validate and route change requests, MOC/Change Notes, and verification activities impacting operations and instrumented assets.
Support interface management for IT/OT integration, SCADA/HMI systems, and field instrumentation networks.
Facilitate shift handovers, shift rotations, and on-call coverage to ensure 24/7 readiness where required.
Prepare and deliver performance reports, incident summaries, and escalation reports for stakeholders and clients.
Ensure compliance with company standards, HSE requirements, and project-specific procedures.
Support documentation control, asset categorization, and configuration management related to NOC activities.
Stay current with industry best practices in NOC operations, cyber considerations, and OT/ICS security.
Experience
Experience: 5+ years of experience in FEED and Detail Engineering and EPCM experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
ADNOC EPC/PMC experience are highly preferred
Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional activities and manage technical incidents in complex engineering environments.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
Professional certifications related to NOC operations, IT/OT security, or process control are a plus.
Familiarity with FEED/detail engineering workflows and documentation is advantageous.
Technical Skills
Knowledge of instrumentation, control systems, IT/OT networks, and SCADA/HMI concepts.
Experience with alarm management, event logging, and incident tracking tools.
Familiarity with interface management, change control processes, and document control.
Understanding of industry standards and best practices for NOC operations and OT security.
Proficiency with basic network diagnostics, remote access tools, and monitoring software.
Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities.
