Job Description
General Characteristics (Job Summary)
– Pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up & operation
Roles & Responsibilities
– Maintain in operation under safe condition the plant/unit/equipment at the MCR or maximum efficiency point keeping the production or other detectable parameter at higher point.
– Pre-commissioning phase, collaborate with the loop check team to carry out the relevant filed and logic control on the control system.
– Monitor handovers in the Control room logbook.
– Check frequently all equipment and alarms status on DCS.
– Apply lockout and other safety procedures for equipment under maintenance.
– Lead field operators for smooth and seamless plant operation.
– Responsible for trouble shooting regarding to operation issues.
– Execute Pre-commissioning and Commissioning activities, such as Flushing, Blowing, Leak Test, Mechanical Running Test, Energization.
– Execute operational function test with skilled knowledge.
– Monitors all DCS parameters with skilled knowledge regarding to plant operation.
– Report operational issues to management.
– Adhere to HSE regulations with operational understanding.
– Coordinate other section operators with good relationship.
– Coordinate emergency situation in accordance with emergency protocol.
Job Requirements
Experience
– Construction experience in an oil / gas / petrochemical or power plants as supervisor.
– Operating experience for DCS operation.
– Experience in Gas plant and overseas plant commissioning.
– Experience in Gas plant commissioning, startup and operation.
– Knowledge of DCS operation and relevant process operation
Knowledge
– Basic knowledge on construction management and engineering standards.
– Computer application ability (MS Office, CAD, Smart Plant Review, Navisworks, Primavera, etc.)
