Job Description
Patient, Doctors and Staff pickup and drop according to the schedule as per the instruction of Transport Incharge/ Supervisor.
Responsibilities
3.1 Doctors, Staffs and Patients pickup and Drop by driving safely and slowly
3.2 Assisting patients/visitors with directions and other enquiries as needed
3.3 Maintaining pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all patients, visitors, Coworkers and clients.
3.4 Works evenings, nights, week-ends and holidays according to the schedule compiled by the head of department.
3.5 Strictly adheres to organization’s regulations and policies especially those related to Infection control, patient safety, EHSMS, HAAD, JCI and ISO.
3.6 Supports Continuous Quality Improvement and participates and contributes to all the quality assurance activities of the service.
3.7 Participates and contributes in scheduled in-service training programs, In house Activities and other training programs as requested.
3.8 Exercises effective interpersonal skills in dealings with department staff, associates and Management.
3.9 Maintains confidentiality as per the agreement signed.
3.10 Demonstrates the ability to listen to others in promoting effective communication.
3.11 Develops thorough understanding of policies and procedures of the hospital and demonstrates respect for them.
3.12 Carries out other duties when requested by the Head of department.
3.13 Comply with all OSH and infection control policies, standards and procedures and cooperate with hospital management to comply those requirements
3.14 Work accordance with the documented OSH procedures and instructions, specific responsibilities
3.15 Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures
3.16 Notifying OSH Hazards, incidents, Near misses and issues and assistance with the preparation of risk assessments, incident reports
3.17 Comply with Waste management procedures and policies
3.18 Attend applicable OSH/Infection control training programs, mock drills and awareness programs
3.19 Use of appropriate personal protective equipment and safety system
Qualifications
4.1 Minimum High School
4.2 Driving history must show a good safety record
4.3 Average command of oral and written English, Arabic desirable but not mandatory.
4.4 Must have valid UAE driving license
4.5 Three or more Years driving experience
4.6 Must be able to read numbers and street signs in both English and Arabic.
