Community Social Worker  Full Time

To assess, support, and empower individuals and families in the community by providing social services, promoting mental and emotional well-being, and facilitating access to available resources in line with UAE laws, cultural norms, and community standards.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Case Management:
o    Assess clients’ needs and develop tailored intervention plans.
o    Monitor progress and provide continuous support and follow-up.
o    Coordinate with government bodies (e.g., Ministry of Community Development, MOHRE) for client support.
•    Community Engagement:
o    Conduct outreach programs to raise awareness about social issues (e.g., domestic violence, child protection, elderly care).
o    Organize and participate in community events and support groups.
•    Advocacy & Referral:
o    Advocate for clients’ rights and needs in areas such as housing, education, and employment.
o    Refer clients to appropriate services such as legal aid, healthcare, or financial support.
•    Collaboration:
o    Work in collaboration with schools, hospitals, police, NGOs, and government agencies.
o    Attend inter-agency meetings and case conferences.
•    Documentation & Reporting:
o    Maintain accurate records of client interactions.
o    Prepare reports in accordance with legal and organizational requirements.
•    Compliance & Ethics:
o    Ensure all work adheres to UAE laws, cultural sensitivity, and professional ethical standards.
o    Maintain confidentiality and respect for client dignity at all times.

•    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
•    Experience: Experience in social work preferred
•    Language Skills: Fluency in Arabic & English is required.
•    Knowledge of UAE Laws: Familiarity with social welfare policies, child protection laws, and labor rights in the UAE.
•    Soft Skills: Empathy, strong communication, problem-solving, cultural competence, and teamwork.
