What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain comprehensive Configuration Management plans aligned with project needs
- Collaborate closely with design and development teams to manage multiple configuration baselines
- Implement control measures to guarantee accurate and timely baseline delivery
- Monitor and enforce strict compliance with CM policies and procedures
- Lead audits to verify the accuracy and integrity of product data
- Generate insightful reports on configuration status for project stakeholders
- Mentor and train engineers on CM best practices and process improvements
- Design and deliver engaging training programs for internal teams
Who You Are
- A Configuration Management expert with 7+ years hands-on experience in systems engineering environments
- Deeply knowledgeable in ANSI/EIA 649 standards and system engineering principles
- Experienced in aerospace or defense industries (preferred) with a passion for complex technical challenges
- Detail-oriented, customer-focused, and results-driven
- Skilled at building strong working relationships and coaching teams to success
- Educated with a High School diploma or Associate degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (minimum); Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering preferred.
