Responsibilities
- Greets and escorts patients from the waiting area to the dental clinic.
- Assists the dentist with treatment administration at the chairside as required.
- Prepares dental materials for fillings and other procedures as directed by the dentist.
- Promotes good dental health by instructing patients on proper brushing and flossing techniques.
- Maintains a sterile and organized working environment following infection control procedures.
- Stocks the clinic, prepares trays and instruments based on the daily schedule, and supervises the maintenance of dental equipment.
- Reviews patient health histories, makes chart entries, and ensures completion of necessary forms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing with an active MOH license.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a dental health care setting.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills, with a focus on continuous professional development.
