EEG Technician Jobs in Dubai, UAE
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To record routine and portable diagnostic electroencephalographs (EEG) on digital equipment
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
To perform EEG procedures in line with regulatory requirements
To monitor and record EEG processes and results
To support the multidisciplinary team with relevant clinical services in line with licensure requirements
To record all relevant patient information accurately in patient information systems
To monitor and manage the maintenance and safe functioning of relevant EEG equipment
To provide general administrative support to the department
REQUIRED EDUCATION
A Bachelor’s degree in Science or a relevant diploma Respiratory Therapy or Neurophysiology
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
At least 3 years’ experience post qualification in a related field within a hospital setting
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Record keeping
- Verbal and written communication skills in English
- Patient safety and experience principles.
