- Collaborates with the Line Manager to achieve the division’s strategic and operational goals.
- Ensures adherence to M42 policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Handles insurance authorizations, submissions, resubmissions, and medical claims with accuracy and efficiency.
- Provides customer service support for insurance verification, eligibility checks, and preauthorization requests.
- Verifies compliance with billing guidelines, maintains accurate records, and tracks payments for timely reimbursement.
- Recommends enhancements to policies and contributes to developing insurance frameworks and processes.
- Maintains strong relationships with insurance carriers and responds promptly to internal and external queries.
- Communicates effectively and collaborates with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operational workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Insurance within a healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with UAE insurance practices and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with knowledge of revenue cycle management in healthcare.
- Understanding of medical coding, billing, and collection practices, including third-party operating procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and fluency in written and spoken English.
