Junior QHSE Technician  Full Time

Scope: This role will be responsible for managing the Food Safety & Health & Safety Management System in Taste of Home. The job holder will be working with department supervisors/ managers to ensure compliance in all DM regulations and Food Safety Practices.

Financial  

• Contributes to CI Log by providing opportunities/initiatives

Customer

• Liaise with the customer to ensure that all Food Safety requirements are met
• Conduct any investigations into complaints raised by the customer and provide detailed reports

Process

• Assist in conducting daily inspections at assigned locations and support the submission of reports to the QHSE technician
• Identify staff training needs and support in organizing and delivering monthly training sessions and toolbox talks at assigned locations
• Support in maintaining all QHSE-related documents, forms, and reports as per company standards
• Assist the QHSE team during supplier audits, QA Audits, client visits, and regulatory authority inspections
• Coordinate with third-party service providers to schedule mandatory services and ensure corrective actions are taken as needed
• Assist in inspecting production equipment and ensuring its general condition is maintained
• Act as an HACCP Team Assistant to support the implementation of HACCP Certification requirements
• Help in ensuring compliance with production hygiene standards as per Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Assist in supervising the calibration of production equipment
• Assist in confirming and ensuring the full implementation of quality and food safety requirements
• Help maintain HACCP & ISO 22000:2018 compliance to meet international food safety standards
• Support in handling Dubai Municipality (DM) inspections and maintaining related records
• Assist in investigating customer complaints and ensuring appropriate corrective and preventive actions are taken
• Support in maintaining hygiene standards and housekeeping of the facility
• Assist in ensuring proper sanitization of all machines before production
• Support in monitoring production overrun and ensuring final product quality meets standards
• Help implement and maintain the traceability system to ensure compliance with food safety standards

Selection Criteria

• Experience – 3 to 5 years in Similar Roles
• Education – Diploma/Degree
