Lead Electrical Engineer Full Time

Day-To-Day Operations 

• Assume sole responsibility for assigned electrical engineering work scopes for Electrical Auxiliary Systems of HVDC and HVAC platforms.
• Carry out electrical discipline work within a project team, supporting the project team for field development of renewable energy projects.
• Plan, budget, organize, and control a segment of the electrical engineering deliverables for the project.
• Prepare and review electrical deliverables for all project phases of renewable industries.
• Liaise with HVDC/ HVAC Technology partners.
• Coordinate and manage engineering subcontractors.
• Ensure that all work is completed without compromise to quality and is delivered according to the project schedule.
• Provide direction and guidance on all electrical engineering technical queries raised by either internal or external parties.
• Liaise with the client’s engineering, operations, and maintenance staff as required to ensure a consistent approach to project completion.
• Promote safe behavior at all times.
• Provide sound technical advice and solutions to a diversity of technical problems within the discipline
• Co-ordinate with other disciplines during all stages of design development, construction, pre-commissioning, and start-up
• Assist in the coordination of all activities related to electrical engineering design.
• Identify any areas of concern with respect to progress and/or quality and recommend corrective actions as required.

Minimum Qualification 

Bachelor/Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Proficient with software such as ETAP, AGi32, etc. ERP, EDMS, MS Office
Minimum of 15 years relevant experience in an in-design office or EPC for offshore HVDC and HVAC platforms, Auxiliary Electrical Systems.
Minimum of 6 years proven capability in an engineering design company
Experience in offshore HVAC/HVDC and process platforms for major projects.
Experience with performing electrical as per IEC/IEEE standards, a very good knowledge and understanding of DNV_GL, BV, and other classification rules and requirements.
