Overview of the role
We are seeking a Master Technician is responsible in ensuring the team carries out the repair and service activities in accordance to established quality, safety, and efficiency guidelines and within set time frames.
What you will do
- Independently working with minimum direction
- Knowledge sharing with other peers and guidance of team members to excellence
- Extend the technical knowledge and skill to cover new products and other systems and functions
- Carryout works like service, troubleshooting, repair, installation and overhauling
- Prepares the team for the upcoming job and allocates job cards to them to align the jobs to the skills set and efficiency level and maximize through put in timely manner
- Prepare the parts list and confirm parts requirements are well matched with the issue on hand and guaranteed to fix the problem
- Attending jobs in the workshop and the field proactively to identify potential problem causes and solve the problem
- Use tools and adopt best practices as mentioned in service manuals, and wiring diagrams to avoid rework
- Accomplishes tasks with full attention to details, standards, and specifications. Adheres to standard operating procedure
- Maintain workshop cleanliness and follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations (HSE)
- Ensures quality checks are done on finished jobs by the technicians
Required skills to be successful
- Technical Education and or Apprenticeship
- At least 8 – 10 years of experience in marine engines & installation.
- Must show proven technical expertise in independently servicing, repairs and overhauling.
- UAE driving License is an advantage

The role will report to the Service Manager.
