Mechanical Engineer Full Time

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing and function tests on the MTU / Volvo Penta products at sites and carry out repair maintenance and adjustment as required. Conduct acceptance test upon completion of work.
• Check installation of MTU products, setting to work and commission of MTU products together with customer representatives according to MTU standard and policies.
• Provide status of work in hand and prepare travel report / service report upon completion of work (final report) or after return from an assignment that is not completed and to be continued in later time and maintain the service record (intermediate status report).
• Deal with technical inquiries from customers to colleagues whether in the capacity of your own knowledge or by assisting experts in providing the clarification.
• Assist in ensuring quality control and order in work process in workshop and field regarding to time to time management, attire of service staff and communication with customer (representatives).
• Upkeep the cleanliness of workplace inhouse and on site.
• Team efforts as needed, timeliness of deliveries.

• Accountable for implementing applicable quality, environmental, health and safety programs in their area of responsibility.
• Any other duties assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in engineering, Mechanical (preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Project Management
