Package / Procurement Engineering for static Equipment
Specify equipment data sheets and specifications, RFQ, ITP, TBE, vendor data review, follow up equipment manufacturing, attending factory acceptance tests
Mechanical design and calculations, equipment supports, material handling devices, installation and maintenance methodologies
Receive vendor data and incorporate in the design
Technical review of quotations and liaison with OEM’s, Vendors
Attending FAT, SAT, and assistance for installation and commissioning
Coordinate and supervise engineering subcontractors and trades
Specify Repair and life extension specifications for brownfield projects
Prepare engineering deliverables / man-hour estimate / schedule for projects
Control and monitor man-hour consumption versus project achieved progress
Participate in design reviews and take necessary follow up actions
Implement day-to-day operations assigned for the engineering department/section to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures
Sound process knowledge on static equipment packages sizing and selection such as Separators, Gas dehydration (TEG) packages, Scrubbers, Shell & Tube heat exchangers, Plate heat exchangers, Pressure vessels
Experience in conversion scope for FPSO Redeployment projects
In depth knowledge of materials / piping system design and construction
Well versed with the rules and regulations for offshore and Classification Societies, API, ASME, IACS and SOLAS
Experience / Qualification & Skills:
Master of Science / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering field from reputable universities
Minimum 5 – 8 Years of experience in related fields including work in conversion shipyards, engineering companies and EPC contractors.
