Responsibilities:

• Produce and support the development of electrical power system designs for manned and unmanned aerospace vehicles
• Electrical power generation design for mainly unmanned aerospace vehicles
• Primary Power Distribution System design, PDU selection, integration and support.
• Secondary Power Distribution System design, SPDU selection, integration and support.
• Grounding Bonding, lightning strategy definition and development
• Electrical Power, Avionics and Mission systems – integration support
• Work closely with specialists in a multidisciplinary team
• Support and contribute to program milestones and major reviews
• Comply with company statutory requirements, rules and safety requirements
• Follow ADASI internal guidelines and processes

Qualifications:

• B.Eng in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Five to 10 years working experience within the aerospace industry.
• Five to 10 years working experience within the electrical power generation and distribution in aerospace industry.
• Five to 10 years working experience on product development in an electronics engineering environment.
• Five to 10 years working experience on technical performance and quality in an electronic engineering environment.

Working Environment

• Able to work umder pressure, with changing priorities, and willingness to put in the extra time to develop and to perform the assignments/tasks given; willing to travel and to provide field support during testing when required.
• May be required to undertake local/international travel as required and/or directed for successfully accomplishing the Project’s strategic objectives.
• The job is performed under general guidelines through annual objectives from the Group Manager. Work schedules and the prioritization work is left to the individual.
• The position may entail mentoring of junior engineers.
