Production Line CMM Inspector Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Programming & Operating: Develop and optimize CMM programs using engineering drawings and specifications.
• Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of machined components with CMMs and precision measuring tools.
• Data Management: Maintain accurate records of inspection results and manage non-conformities effectively.
• Collaboration: Work closely with CNC operators and supervisors to qualify new setup parts.
• Quality Assurance: Analyze measurement data to ensure compliance with quality standards and create Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) when needed.
• Lean Manufacturing: Implement 5S & Kanban systems to minimize defects and waste.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to process optimization.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in CMM programming and inspection within a CNC machine shop environment.
• Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in using PC-DMIS, Calypso, and knowledgeable in GD&T principles. Familiarity with FANUC & SIEMENS CNC controls is a plus.
• Competencies: Strong planning and organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques (Six Sigma) is advantageous.
