Production Supervisor Jobs in Abu Dhabi, UAE
JOB PURPOSE
The role holder will be responsible for managing the shift for the Blow Moulding operation and ensure the production plan is executed as per the target/demand. Accountable for supervising, training the operators in Mould change operations, work-order closure in the system & responsible for the basic preventive maintenance of the machine.
ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KPIs
- Execute the production plan, based on demand received.
- Supervise Mould change, process, or recipe setup.
- Record raw material consumption, finished goods report, shift performance report, QC sampling report.
- Execute basic preventive maintenance schedule.
- Conduct regular risk assessments of blow moulding operations, identifying potential hazards, and implementing measures to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with the HSE department to develop and update risk assessment protocols.
- Regularly inspect and ensure the proper maintenance of blow moulding machinery to minimize the risk of accidents.
- Implement and maintain Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles in blow moulding operations to identify and control potential food safety hazards.
- Work closely with the Quality Control team to establish and maintain quality assurance protocols.
- Establish clear and measurable performance goals for the blow moulding operations team aligned with overall company objectives.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to blow moulding operations, such as production efficiency, machine uptime, and product quality.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Mechanical/Plastic engineering
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in blow moulding or SIPA lines
- Ability to manage large-size teams and flexible to work in shifts.
