Production Technician Full Time

Key Accountabilities:

• Perform equipment set up, operation, equipment adjustments and minor preventive tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures
• Conduct tests on assemblies and equipment before they are put into production to ensure they function correctly and comply with safety standards.
• Diagnose operational problems, mechanical errors and inefficiencies during the testing process of assemblies and equipment
• Use technical skills to troubleshoot identified problems and make clear recommendations for improvements
• Examine and evaluate finished products before the full-scale production, to ensure they meet the quality standards and conform to the required specifications
• Monitor the equipment during its operations so that the production process and materials produced are free of defects and meet the productivity standard.
• Conduct routine maintenance of the production equipment by cleaning, repairing or recalibrating it.
• Document and record data and information associated with the operating equipment.
• Stay abreast with the latest methods of production and equipment maintenance procedures
• Provide technical support to the engineers in developing and testing prototypes of new products and processes.

Experience & Education Qualifications:

Expertise:

Minimum:  0 – 3 years’ of technical experience in mechanical and electronic assemblies

Preferred:

3 + years’ of experience in a similar industry

Minimum Qualification:

Minimum: :  High School / Diploma.

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in technical, engineering or quality field / Certification in Operations Management.
