Retail Technician  Full Time

Role Purpose: To carry out day-to-day engineering related tasks and break down maintenance activities as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor to maximize equipment uptime, thereby minimizing disruptions to the Operations.

Responsibilities: 

• Obtains Work Orders from the Supervisor and arrange resources (e-g. tools, spares, etc.)
• Mobilizes all required resources for work and carries out assigned tasks
• Obtains necessary work permits and performs the work in a safe and efficient manner (e.g. uses techniques of isolation, barricading the work area)
• Carries out overhauling and repairs at workshop for removed equipment retains them for future use
• Notifies Supervisor where salvage is not possible
• Provides feedback to the Supervisor to assist him in preparing various reports, spare parts etc.
• Performs a complete testing of all completed projects to ensure correct operation
• Reports all completed works by documenting a work order, PM forms, Calibration Sheets etc. and obtaining required signatures from the Site in-charge indicating satisfactory work completed.
• Perform inputs into the business planning and budgeting for section by analysing historical data.
• Assists in supervision of contractor’s work and participates with the Supervisor in special tasks such as commissioning, hand over, site survey etc.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Engineering or Technical Trade certificate or equivalent
• A minimum of 4 years experience within Maintenance
• Experience in Oil and Gas distribution industry preferred
• Good knowledge in Facilities Maintenance Management
• Excellent communication skills and fluent in English
• Good interpersonal skills
• Time management skill.
