Tyre Fitter Full Time

Day- to-day operations:
To Inspect condition and wear limits on all mobile plant equipment, which includes pneumatic, foam filled, and solid tyres and wheels.
Regular inspection of pneumatic tyres inflation pressure and fill as per manufacture recommendation.
Report any item that has been damaged or has any abnormal wear patterns or the vehicle multiple tyres / wheel problems.
Maintain good working relationship with workers, appointed foreman, supervisors and management.
Perform duties of a Foreman as required / appointed for individual projects.
Work within allocated timescale to meet department targets
Attend any training for any activity required by the department.
Carry out inspection of all outgoing vehicles tyres condition and its expiry date.
Carry out tyres inspection during Preventive maintenance and provide feedback to foreman for replacement.
Maintain good housekeeping in all work areas.
Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.

Technical competencies:
Basic knowledge of technical terms about tyres expiry date & tread pattern
Knowledge to use jacking & lifting of equipments for tyre replacement
Familiar to use tyre replacement machine.
Familiar to repair tubeless tires & tubes
Apply knowledge of appropriate engineering principles, techniques and procedures.
