Senior Project Surveyor Jobs in Dubai, UAE
Job Description
To manage, control and monitor all commercial aspects in the delivery of project from feasibility stage through to completion of the construction period. To undertake cost management at both the pre and post contract stages. Ensuring project costs, budgets and cash flow compliance, all within Company and Client Protocols and Procedures. With a focus on major mixed use and infrastructure projects.Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:Leading client engagement across the portfolio of projectsPrepare cost options studies for a variety of infrastructure and public realm assetsProduce cost estimates from conceptual sketches, descriptive narrative and other drawings and specifications, able to make reasonable technical assumptions.Accountable for a variety of complex deliverables throughout the lifecycle of multiple projects, ensure projects remain on budget as the primary project cost controller.Manages the resources across a portfolio of projects, all within the established budgetsAccountable for briefing the project team on scope to ensure roles and responsibilities are understoodPreparation of earned value reportsPrepare, review and update cash-flowsResponsible for assessing the value of progress payments and change requests for contractors and consultants and making recommendations to clients.Preparation of RFP documentation and management of procurement processTender document preparationTender review and reconciliationParticipate and evaluate value engineering solutionsWorking knowledge of industry recognized Contract forms (FIDIC) and standard methods of measurement including CESMM, POMI, NRM.Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
Qualifications
Minimum 8 years’ experience in the industry.
Additional Information
Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying and/or Engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited, internationally recognized institution or University. Achieved or actively working towards MRICS or equivalent accreditation.
