Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Solar Engineer to join our renewable energy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining solar energy systems, including photovoltaic (PV), thermal, and concentrated solar systems.
This role requires a strong technical foundation in electrical, mechanical, and thermodynamic systems, as well as familiarity with construction standards and industry regulations. The ideal candidate will be capable of assessing installation sites, providing tailored recommendations, and managing the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain various solar energy systems and equipment
- Implement and manage photovoltaic (PV) and other solar energy systems
- Assess potential sites and recommend suitable solar technologies based on location and client needs
- Oversee installation, maintenance, and operations of solar systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to solar system performance
- Customize solar products or services to meet client requirements
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputed institution
- Certification in Solar Energy (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of solar energy systems
- Understanding of other renewable energy sectors is desirable
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to effectively interact with clients, vendors, suppliers, and site personnel
- Strong presentation skills
