Key accountabilities
- Operate the Utility Vehicles and petrol / diesel runway & road sweepers / Trucks / Loaders / Litter vacuum machines / hydro-blasting machines/ access equipment not limited to in accordance with the manufacturer instructions and company procedures.
- Ensure facilities roadways, car parks, tunnels, fence and apron area are maintained free of FOD / debris always.
- Maintain a clean and functioning vehicle, report/ notify Supervisors any defects and damages of the assigned vehicle during the course of the shift, ensure empty road sweeper machine at the end of the shift and carry out cleaning of the vehicle.
- Present the vehicle to the motor transport section for inspection, as per the schedule. Ensure that the required Vehicle Service Book is completed regularly.
- Be aware of and adhere to all Safety & Security rules and regulations. Complete the Vehicle Service Book as required. Respond on time to emergency calls as and when required.
- Undertake assigned duties in the designated areas, adhering to SOP’s and Job Card specifications and maintain checklists / log book for reference.
- Able to speak and understand English with good level of Fluency.
- Knowledge of Airport’s Safety, particularly ramp safety rule.
- Airport experience is highly desirable for this position
Specific requirements
- High School diploma level and be trained in an appropriate field related to the specific work area.
- A minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role is preferred
- Valid UAE driving license Catergory 4 and/or 8. Any additional permit is an advantage.
