Job Description
This role involves conducting vehicle electrical diagnostics and repairs in line with manufacturer procedures to ensure high-quality service. The technician will use diagnostic tools and shop manuals efficiently, contribute to maintaining a safe and clean workspace, and continuously enhance their skills through training. The position requires providing timely feedback to supervisors regarding additional repair needs and ensuring vehicle cleanliness to support customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs in accordance with Manufacturer’s repair procedures
- Maximize productivity by minimizing time wastage
- Properly use and maintain tools, equipment, and manuals
- Participate in training and self-study to enhance skills and knowledge
- Report additional repair needs to supervisor for customer/insurance approval
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Adhere to vehicle cleanliness protocols for customer satisfaction
Requirements
- High School graduate or technical education in the automotive field
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in vehicle electrical diagnostics and repairs
- Proficient in troubleshooting, wiring inspections, and using GDS and KDS systems
- Experience with Hyundai or KIA vehicles (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Skilled in using diagnostic tools and multimeters
- Capable of repairing/replacing alternators, starters, batteries, lighting systems, and vehicle wiring
- Physically fit and hardworking
- Responsible and reliable
