Job Purpose

To expedite EPC contracts with Mechanical, Pre commissioning .and commissioning
 Principal Accountabilities

Co-ordinates with Client, Subcontractor, Third Party Inspector and specialist Vendor Representatives.
Execution of Tank, piping ,erection of allied equipments ,structural works within parameters of cost and schedule.
Preparation / Issue of Daily, Weekly and/or Monthly Progress Reporting and look ahead for progress monitoring, reporting and control.
Prepare the project schedule, plan the work and work the plan, review schedule, ensure that activities are carried out as per schedule and highlight from time to time issues which cause delay to project..
Responsible for project budget control and cost control measures. Expedition of material procurement.
Ensure that all the construction activities are carried out adopting the QA/QC  procedure and as per HSE guideline.
Provide technical input during preparation of  project estimation  in close liaison with engineering department and production department.
Prepare initial scope of work as required for sub contracting. Assist and engage in prequalification of tank, piping ,structural sub contractors.
Review project initial, in progress and final As built documentation.

Additional Principal Accountabilities

Minimum Educational, Professional and Vocational qualifications required
Degree  in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum years of relevant work experience
10Years experience in Project Execution, construction/erection of pressure/process vessels, oil rigs/platforms and heavy equipment for oil & gas industries. Storage tanks, Spherical tanks.
Must have in depth knowledge of relevant ASME, API, BS and other international codes.
Good communication skills. Knowledge of basic Office automation products (MS XL, Word) and MS Project planning hands on experience is essential.
Level and type of behavioural and functional competencies required
Leadership quality and complying with instructions by the project/construction manager, skills in managing workmen crew/subcontractor, effective communication skills verbal and written ,effective representation of company in progress review meetings, Effective coordination with home office.
