Nursing Educator Full Time

Duties And Responsibilities:

•  Handles the orientations and evaluations of all new staff under his/her supervision.
• Providing an appropriate climate for learning and facilitate the adult learning process by conducting In-service education activities
• Demonstrate skills in educational activities and directly or indirectly fostering the development of competence in the nursing staff
• Assisting learners to identify both their learning needs and the effective learning activities required to meet those needs while fostering a positive attitude about the benefits and opportunities of life-long learning.
• Identifying changes that should be made in nursing practice using an evidence-based approach and facilitating the initiation of, adoption of, and adaptation to change.
• Demonstrates skills in conducting training need analysis and develops training plan promptly.
• Coordinates with concern charge nurses/team leaders in scheduling hospital codes and QPS related trainings.
• Demonstrate competency in taking nursing supervisor role as and when required especially during medical emergency situations.
• Acts as clinical/managerial resource for charge nurses/ team leaders and to all nursing staff.
• Demonstrates deep knowledge of fire safety, patient safety, infection control and the other necessary precautions as per hospital policy.
• Facilitates the process of patient satisfaction survey data analyses and support the concern charge nurses or team leader in action plan related task
• Assists in the development of policies and procedures which involve patient care issues and acts as an advocate for patients and nurses.

Quality Roles And Responsibilties:

    KPI Validator

• Take appropriate corrective and preventive actions in discussion with data collection lead (owner) and follow up action within appropriate time frame.

• Actively participates in the hospitals KPI Validation Process related to JAWDA

• Ensure adequate data validation system and tool in plac

• Performs data collection for validation through a variety of mechanisms for hospital indicators and JAWDA indicator

• Analyze, verifies the data to support the validation process

• Prepare validation reports and ensures timey submission to quality department

• Provides continuous feedback to KPI facilitator, Owner and quality department to help them make decisions and continuously improve their JAWDA KPI reporting.

• To conduct data validation as per JAWDA requirements for the assigned indicators by the quality department.

• Follow up with corrective and preventive action plan related to the indicated validation.

• Ensures to comply with JAWDA regulations as their review and updates.

OHSMS Roles And Responsibilities

• ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​​​​​Comply with all OSH and Infection control policies, standards and procedures and cooperate with hospital management to comply with those requirements.

• Work in accordance with the documented OSH procedures, Instructions and specific responsibilities.

• Be familiar with Emergency and Evacuation procedures.

• Notifying OSH Hazards, Incidents, Near Misses and Issues and assist with the preparation of risk assessments and Incident Reports.

• Comply with Waste Management procedures and policies.

• Attend applicable OSH/Infection control training programs, mock drills and Awareness programs

• Use of appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems.

Qualification, Licensure, Education, Experience, Special

Skills

• ​​​​​​Bachelor of Science in Nursing / Master’s in nursing preferred
• Current license in country of origin with HAAD license (Registered Nurse) to Practice.
• Minimum 3years of clinical experience in addition to 2 years teaching experience.
•  Fluent spoken and written English.  Spoken Arabic is advantageous.
