Store In Charge Full Time

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Store In Charge with a background in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) and Building Materials. As the Store In Charge, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, managing inventory, and ensuring efficient and accurate handling of MEP and building materials.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise the overall operations of the store, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of MEP and building materials.
• Receive, inspect, and verify the quality and quantity of incoming materials, ensuring they meet the required standards.
• Organize and maintain the store layout, ensuring easy accessibility and proper storage of materials.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to forecast material requirements and coordinate deliveries to meet project timelines.
• Train and supervise store staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective store operations.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all store personnel.
• Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve any discrepancies in inventory records.
• Stay updated with industry trends, new products, and technologies related to MEP and building materials.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the MEP and building materials industry.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and building materials, including their specifications, applications, and quality standards.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in inventory management software, ERP Knowledge and MS Office applications.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and suppliers.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials and maintaining records.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to the handling and storage of MEP and building materials.
