Purpose of the job
Efficient monitoring of project progress, be influential in ensuring project activities adhere to approved programmes and thereby facilitate delivery of the project on time.
Job Accountabilities
- Involve in preparation and approval of master programme review, recovery / target / T &C programmes and material /drawing/method statement logs.
- Measure progress monitoring/updates/earned value assessment for manpower, resource, cost loading and forecasts.
- Prepare and review weekly/monthly reports and maintain EOT logs.
- Support in CTC preparation in coordination with Managing QS / QS / PMs.
- Prepare progress review & commercial review reports in coordination with Managing QS/QS/ PMs.
- Liaise with Senior Planning Engineer/ Contracts Planning Engineer/PMs for the smooth functioning of planning function on sites.
- Perform all activities in compliance with the Company Health, Safety and Environmental Management System (HSEMS) and the assigned specific responsibilities and comply with and implement the local laws and Client requirements related to Health, Safety and Environmental aspects at workplace as per the bestowed authority and responsibility.
- Any other ad hoc administrative duty as requested by the Line Manager or Management staff.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering & working knowledge of Primavera & MS Office
Experience
Minimum 7 years in major contracting companies in UAE/Middle East, specialized in infrastructure works
Knowledge & Skills
Ability to monitor and analyse progress data using specialist software. Should also be able to prepare target programmes/forecasts/delay event programmes & analysis.
