Electrical Estimator Engineer Full Time

1. Study the received Tender Specification, Drawings and Equipment Schedules in relation to Electrical systems so that the scope is well understood
2. Prepare guidelines for the scope of work and responsibilities that are included in the Tender documents
3. Obtain and review quotations for all ElectricalEquipment and material other than the fixed rate items
4. Maintain a database for cost price lists for Electrical typical material and labor man hours cost.
5. Prepare in coordination with the quantity surveyors lists of the measured quantities for all Electrical material included in the Tender Documents
6. Prepare and obtain clarifications on the Tender (Electrical) conflicts or on items of incomplete information from the consultant
7. Prepare the cost list for all material, required specialists system, 3rd party inspection, Tests, Engineering and Labor cost in relation to Electrical
8. Complete the Tender Cost for Electrical System using the Department forms and save all data to the system network.
9. Discuss the completed costing work, the Tender Electrical Scope of Work and responsibilities with the Estimation Manager
10. Complete the schedules of quantities (BOQ) for Electrical works as directed by the Estimation Manager incorporating the indirect cost and margins.

Requirements

• BSC Engineering Degree from a recognized University in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2-5 years experience with medium organizations in estimation of similar jobs with some experience as Site/ Project Electrical Engineer.
• Hard worker who can work under pressure.
• Fluency in the English language is a must.
• Computer Skills, i.e. Microsoft Office
