ROLE PROFILE
- Carry out field surveys and measurements using Land surveying techniques to collect site, building and facility measurement data for upload into appropriate CAD outputs
- Analyse building codes, by-laws, space and site requirements as well as other technical documents and reports to determine their effect on architectural designs
- Operate computer-aided drafting (CAD) equipment or conventional drafting station to produce designs, working drawings, charts, forms and records
- Lay-out and plan interior arrangements for commercial buildings using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment and software
- Maintain continuous operation of all software, hardware, peripherals and consumables associated with the production of CAD data
- Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant technical information sources, drafting standards, equipment, techniques and software applications
- Prepare, update and maintain all drawing versions and document referencing protocol
- Develop or configure document management system features, such as user interfaces, access profiles and document workflow procedures
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture / Interior Design
- 0-2 years’ experience, 1+ years in retail
- Highly organized with strong multitasking skills
- Good time management skills
- Good problem solving skills
- High attention to detail.
