Project Engineer  Full Time

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Structural Engineer to join our team based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

We envisage success in this role to include;

• Support engineering team in preparation of scopes of work, specifications, and drawings for civil / structural discipline work packages primarily related to Industrial / commercial and Infrastructure works.
• Attending the project kick off meeting.
• Developing the design development plan and design interfaces.
• Coordinating with the other functions within the project team to ensure deliverables developed are aligned.
• Attending page turn reviews for all work packages.
• Supporting Project Management during the tender period (e.g., responding to bidder queries, revising engineering deliverables, etc.).
• Participating in technical evaluations.
• Managing the progress of design deliverables to enable the commencement of construction.
• Management of all engineering / technical issues arising during the execution of the project.
• Attending periodic progress review meetings both internally and with the contractor(s) and consultant(s) to ensure project and work package engineering requirements are being achieved.
• Monthly assessment of engineering deliverables status.
• Support review of shop drawings / RFI and issuance of Site instructions for projects as per requirement.
• Identifying any updates to engineering standards and engineering lessons learned based on the project execution.

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 10 years of work experience partnered with a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or similar.

Must have experience working within an engineering team on the design development of construction projects either as a client or as a contractor, with specific experience in the process of developing scopes,concept design, and engineering support.
