Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute stormwater management plans, including the design and analysis of stormwater drainage systems, flood control solutions, and water quality measures.
• Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to simulate stormwater runoff, flooding scenarios, and drainage network performance.
• Perform site assessments, collect relevant data, and evaluate existing stormwater infrastructure.
• Create design drawings, reports, and technical documentation for stormwater infrastructure, including storm drains, culverts, retention ponds
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate stormwater solutions into larger site development projects.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, including permitting and approvals processes.
• Develop designs that adhere to the quality standards, ensuring compliance with the company’s QA/QC processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in stormwater modeling and design.
• Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software such as SWMM, InfoWorks ICM and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong understanding of hydrology, hydraulics, and stormwater regulations.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in multiple projects and deadlines with attention to detail.
