Consultant Infectious Diseases  Full Time

Clinical Care:

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of infectious diseases, including bacterial, viral, fungal, and parasitic infections.
• Manage complex cases such as multidrug-resistant infections, HIV/AIDS, tropical diseases, and sepsis.
• Provide consultation services to other medical teams for infectious disease management and antimicrobial stewardship.

Infection Control and Prevention:

• Lead infection prevention and control programs within the hospital or healthcare organization.
• Collaborate with infection control teams to develop and implement policies to minimize healthcare-associated infections (HAIs).
• Monitor and manage outbreaks, including providing guidance on isolation measures and reporting to public health authorities.

Multidisciplinary Collaboration:

• Work closely with microbiologists, pharmacists, intensivists, and other specialists to optimize patient care.
• Participate in case reviews, multidisciplinary meetings, and hospital committees related to infectious diseases.

Education and Training:

• Provide training and education to medical staff, trainees, and allied health professionals on infectious diseases, antimicrobial stewardship, and infection prevention.
• Organize and participate in continuing medical education (CME) activities and workshops.

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or equivalent in Infectious Diseases or Internal Medicine with specialization in Infectious Diseases.
• Valid medical license to practice in UAE
• Demonstrated expertise in managing a broad spectrum of infectious diseases.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
