Hiring: Project Engineer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction-related aspects of the project, ensuring that work is completed as per the plan, utilizing resources efficiently, maintaining high-quality standards, and adhering to safety regulations. The candidate must have 10 years of experience in the UAE, specifically in RTA project activities.

Preferably, the candidate should be based in the UAE.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Construction manager and project team with related to Utilities and road works and completed in time project documentation and controlling within the budget, with good quality and in a safe manner.
• Assist to Construction Manager in matters related to Authority like NOCs, as built submission and final inspections.
• Review or shop drawings, RFI coordination with technical department.
• Prepare accurate daily reports of the site activities including information on work done, machinery, manpower, material used, unusual incidences and visitors to site.
• Follow up with the respective subcontractors on inspection of works by the Consultants and Clients, monitor and report to the PM on the Request for Approval (RFA) Status daily.
• Build up and maintain in good relationship with the inspectors, representatives of the Consultants, Clients and Authority representatives.
• Ensure safe working methods are used at all times, including issuing or keeping records for issuing of Safety and Enviromental related Corrective Action Requests (CAR) or Safety Violation notices.
• Control quality of works at site including issuing of Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) to the parties concerned in coordination with the QA/QC department.
• Develop Status report as required demonstrating the project status with respect to progress, submittals, safety and quality issues.

Qualifications ad skills requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent experience
• 10 years of experience in UAE and GCC, must have RTA project experience
• Roads and Utilities
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards.
