| Skills Required | Reports to Lead Methods Engineer in Yard Rigging & Methods Section Roles & Responsibilities: • Prepare construction execution strategy • Prepare construction build methodologies • Prepare construction yard layouts • Prepare analysis, studies and drawings for heavy lifts • Prepare analysis, studies and drawings for heavy transport and load-out operations • Prepare analysis, studies and drawings for weighing operations • Manage a team of designers and draftsman Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering • Min. 7 years’ experience as a structural and construction methods engineer with focus on offshore oil & gas structures such as topsides, process platforms, jackets, bridges, pipe racks, etc… • Experience in preparation of heavy lift, heavy transport, weighing and loadout studies • Experience in conducting structural analysis on software such as SACS and ANSYS |
