Chief Land Surveyor  Full Time

Responsibilities

• Report to the Project Managers
• In charge of survey works covered in project.
• Review contract drawings/approved shop drawings thoroughly and understand the details.
• Check with technical department for clarity in shop drawings or for additional information
• Check the survey control points to maintain in good working condition. Ensure traverse survey is carried out and closed.
• Maintain all survey equipment’s with valid calibration certificates at all times and in good working condition
• Establish good working relationship with the Consultant and Employer staffs at site.
• Follow the document control procedures and make the latest construction documents available for use.
• Conduct survey checks for works as per the RFA’s made and ensure its approval from the Consultant. Maintain records related to approval/rejection of works and ensure resubmissions are made and approved.
• Act responsibly on NCR’s, CAPARs raised by the Engineer/Employer and company QA/QC team. Implement the action plans within the shortest possible time.
• Ensure that as- built information is taken prior to covering the works.
• Keep the field survey books, as built data safe at all times and hand over to superiors while away from project.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor Degree in Civil & Advanced Surveying, or Diploma & Advanced Surveying from reputed university.
• Relevant years of experience in civil infrastructure construction projects.
• Good Technical and analytical skills.
• Cooperative and supportive Teamwork and Productivity.
• Good knowledge in computers, Auto Cad, TBC, Civil 3D, Excel, Word etc.
