Insulation Superintendent Full Time

Job Description

Manage and supervise of all the EPC activities of the Insulation Section (HVAC Department). Control and co-ordination of the Supervisors and Supervision for Insulation Section related to EPC works.

Day To Day Operations:

• Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Insulation Section’s EPC works, to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes, and procedures.
• Review of EPC job specifications and do gap analysis, pre-planning of priorities, establish production objectives, schedules to ensure timely delivery of all projects undertaken with required quality and safety standards.
• Review of EPC projects – Insulation Procedure Specifications, drawings, ITP, schedule, plans, construction procedures etc. to ensure smooth delivery of the project.
• Coordinate with Engineering for prioritizing the deliverables and find solutions.
• Support EPC Division during bid stage as & when required. .
• Participate in high level owner meetings,
• Evaluate the resource loading across EPC projects allocated.
• Random inspection of worksite in order to make sure the optimum utilization of available resources, identify site modification required and raise Technical Queries as required.
• Coordinate with other disciplines along with Project Manager/ Construction Manager for construction sim-ops, clash checks identification and smooth progress of EPC projects.
• Approve Material Requisitions for EPC projects and coordinate with Procurement Team to find best alternatives for early delivery.
• Discipline employees, according to the disciplinary procedure, whose behavior contravenes disciplinary code.

Technician Competencies:

• Knowledge and experience in a EPC company or shipyard or offshore construction facility involved in piping & equipment insulation works (in compliance with NORSOK M004:2018 standard).
• Familiar with technical terms related to insulation and cladding works.
• Good knowledge in fabrication and installation of insulation and cladding, especially in compliance with NORSOK M004:2018 standard and CINI manual.
• Strong background with resolution of technical issues during projects planning and execution phases.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and successfully execute tasks in accordance with business objectives.
• Project management skills

Essential

Education :- Degree or equivalent in relevant field

Training:- Safety Management training and International training/certifications on Insulation & Cladding.

Experience:- 10 years working experience in EPC company or shipyard with conversion and new building facilities with minimum of 2 year as functional head.

Desirable

Education:- Master’s Degree in relevant field

Training:-FROSIO-certified inspector (Level 3 Insulation)

Experience:- Project management experience in high value projects.Working experience in major EPC company and heavy industrial segments.
