Scaffolding Design Engineer Jobs in Dubai, UAE
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the design of scaffolding, formwork, temporary works, and support systems for bridge and large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Prepare scaffolding design calculations, drawings, and related technical documentation for construction stages.
- Provide technical guidance and optimization support for on-site scaffolding implementation.
- Conduct technical clarifications, design reviews, and safety verifications.
- Participate in standardization and modularization studies for scaffolding and steel structure systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in scaffolding and steel structure design, with strong background in bridge scaffolding design preferred.
- Familiar with various scaffolding systems (e.g., Ringlock, Cuplock, H-frame) and structural analysis principles.
- Proficient in design and analysis software such as STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, MIDAS, AutoCAD, etc.
- Proven experience in UAE projects and good knowledge of local design and safety standards.
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills for on-site technical support.
- Good command of English, capable of preparing professional technical documents independently.
Qualifications:
- Registration with UAE engineering associations or equivalent professional certification.
- Experience working with scaffolding design firm or on large bridge/infrastructure projects.
