Job Purpose

To provide a professional range of nail, massage, waxing, and skin care services in line with salon protocols and established industry standards, ensuring an exceptional client experience.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet every client in a warm and friendly manner, delivering excellent customer service at all times.

• Perform a full range of services including:

  • Nail treatments

  • Waxing (Lycon brand knowledge preferred)

  • Massage

  • Facials

  • Lash & brow services

  • Skin treatments

• Conduct full consultations with clients to identify any health or skin concerns before initiating any services.

• Assess client needs through appropriate questioning and confidently recommend suitable services and products.

• Clearly explain each step of the service process to ensure client comfort and confidence.

• Handle client questions and concerns with professionalism, empathy, and discretion.

• Manage and escalate client complaints in accordance with company after-sales policies.

• Adhere to hygiene standards as per municipality requirements and salon protocols.

• Build lasting client relationships and maintain detailed service records for future reference.

• Demonstrate knowledge of all products used during treatments and follow brand guidelines to achieve optimal results.

• Recommend suitable after-care products and additional retail items to enhance service value.

• Coordinate with reception to optimize appointment scheduling and daily productivity.

• Maintain client retention through effective rebooking strategies.

• Promote client referrals to achieve business targets.

• Uphold personal grooming standards to reflect the professionalism and brand image.

• Ensure proper sterilization and care of tools and equipment.

• Maintain cleanliness of treatment room post-service.

• Promptly report any concerns regarding the skin department or client services to management.

• Use salon-use products responsibly to support cost control.

• Attend training sessions and engage in continuous self-learning to stay current with industry practices.

• Monitor product stock levels daily and inform the manager of required items.

• Maintain organized and presentable retail display areas; check barcodes and expiry dates.

• Remove expired/damaged items and notify the manager accordingly.

• Prepare and manage salon-use item orders as needed.

• Assist with periodic stocktakes and inventory counts.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
