Maintenance Technician Jobs in Dubai, UAE
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To diagnose and repair electrical problems in electrical systems, including fault finding, rewiring and monitoring of systems in accordance with professional trade and health and safety standards and regulatory requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
Provide relevant electrical maintenance monitoring and support for facility electrical systems that includes fault finding, rewiring, monitoring
Deliver planned preventative maintenance services for electrical distribution systems including ACB’s, MDB’s, SMDB’s, DB’s and all associated plant and equipment
Operate switchgear and generator systems
Installation of electrical systems in accordance with wiring regulations
Support relevant administrative processes, including ordering of parts, to ensure equipment remain in good functioning order
Contribute towards and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety standards, policies and regulatory requirements
REQUIRED EDUCATION
A relevant technical diploma or trade certificate from an internationally accredited institution
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
At least 2 years’ relevant experience preferably in a healthcare setting
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Building management systems and lighting control systems
- Knowledge of current wiring regulations
- Relevant JCIA and other related governance and regulatory standards.
