To facilitate appointments for oncology related services and support the efficient administrative operations of the business unit
Facilitates appointments for all services related to oncology
Provide support to physicians with patient education and care plans
Provide support and act as patient advocate during the patient’s Oncology journey
Coordinates multidisciplinary planning and support patient throughout the care continuum, including admissions and collaborating with relevant departments
Support cancer registry staff with data collection and tracking of outcomes
Responsible for all outreach liaison by establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with key customers i.e. physicians, office staff, diagnostic departments, nurses and radiation departments
A relevant Diploma or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
At least 2 years’ relevant experience in a similar function within a healthcare setting
At least 2 years’ Oncology Nursing experience is desired
