Main Purpose Of Job
Apply casts to patients through a variety of clinical procedures, including educating others on casting care and removal
Key Responsibility Areas
Apply contour improvement plaster techniques as per professional and regulatory requirements
Participate in department quality improvement programmes
Patient data is accurately recorded and maintained as per standard
Relevant stock and equipment is managed according to company standard
Required Education
Cast Technician qualification from an accredited institution and licensed or eligible for licensure with the relevant healthcare regulator
Required Experience
At least 2 years postgraduate experience as Cast Technician
Required Job Skills And Knowledge
- Computer Literacy (Microsoft Office)
- Verbal and written communication skills in English
- Patient experience standards
- Stock management processes
