Role Description:As the Chief Engineer (Platform Integration System Engineer Team Lead), you will spearhead platform integration system engineering initiatives by comprehensively understanding requirements, orchestrating technical meetings, and facilitating seamless communication with weapon system engineers. Your responsibilities will encompass crafting Integration Control Documents (ICD), meticulously planning and executing tests and evaluations, qualifications, and providing invaluable mentorship to new system engineers within our esteemed department.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Establish integration requirement documents and end-user requirements.
  • Define integration specifications and scope of work.
  • Develop and maintain Technical and Systems Engineering Management Plans (TEMP and SEMP) for platform integration.
  • Ensure smooth interface management between platforms and weapons.
  • Oversee new development projects and transfer of knowledge, guiding and delegating tasks to new system engineers.
  • Supervise integration projects within the Platform Integration department.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Science required; preference for INCOSE certification in System Engineering.
