Endoscopy Technician Full Time

Responsible for assisting endoscopy and other GI procedure and maintenance and record keeping of endoscopies suit.

1. Prepares and provides AM clinic preparation for early morning. Also ensure consent.
   1. Explain endoscopy procedures to patient with support of his/her language with pro department staff. To check about any contraindication to endoscopy or sedation & inform the Doctor.
   2. Gives instructions and prepares needed laboratory investigations for patient undergoing endoscopy procedures. Histopathological Biopsy.
   3. Collaborates with the OPD Supervisor and anesthesia department in scheduling endoscopic examination that requires anesthetist intervention.
   4. Assist the ERCP in giving contrast media to the patient and observe any untoward reactions while procedure is ongoing.
   5. Display knowledge of the radiation hazards.
   6. Participates in any PI activities and attend continuing nursing education activity relevant to area of mandatory requirements.

1. Diploma/ Bachelor in Endoscopy.
   1. Well knowledge in GI procedures and Endoscopy machines.
   2. Minimum 2 year experience after qualification.
   3. Current license in country of origin with DOH license to practice in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
   4. BLS trained.
   5. Must be fluent in spoken & written English. Arabic speaking desirable but not essential.
