Machine Operator Full Time

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Adhere to all policies and procedures related to Operations department.
• Adheres to company policies, procedures and work processes.
• Performs the following activities on daily basis as per instruction from the machining supervisor:
o  Receive job assignment from machining supervisor at the start of the shift
o  Ensure all material, documentation and tooling to perform the job are available
o  Load and unload parts to the  machine
o  Perform tool offset adjustments
o  Activation of current loaded NC Program upon confirmation of the machining supervisor
o Perform tool changes with measurement and edit the tool library
o Report the daily output and ensure to fill the required documentation
• Perform de-burring and bench work as required.
• Carry out product measurement (WSI worker self-inspection)  and ensure product conformity.
• Report any reject, issue, error and non-conformity immediately to the machining supervisor.
• Fill the actual output data in the production order.
• Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
• Follow the daily maintenance work-instruction/checklist to ensure that the machine will remain clean and operational.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Remove and clean the chip bin, regularly.
• Add coolant to the machine, on regular intervals.
• Manufacture parts following the technical instructions from manufacturing engineer, CAD/CAM engineer and machine setup technician.
• Handover finished and validated parts to the following sequance in the production order.
• Work within the limits of authority as defined by the Machining Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Take responsible approach to health, safety and environmental risks involved in your specific job capacity within the organization.
• Actively participate in EHS initiatives and other safety related teams in the organization.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Technical Diploma in the relevant field is required. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing/Mechanical /Production) is preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in machining in a manufacturing environment.

KEY SKILLS

• Working knowledge of small weapon production and manufacture
• Knowledge of production policies and procedures
• CNC Machines Working Knowledge
• English and Arabic language skills (Oral and written)
