Plumbing Engineer Full Time

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing of all the materials approval and preparing for shop drawing and get approval for issuing to site for construction;
• Recording tender discrepancies against the project contract documents which affect project cost;
• Distribute of latest approved coordination drawing to Site Manager and Site Engineer and ensure of old drawing being stamped superseded;
• Coordinate with BIM coordinator in preparation of coordination and builders work drawings;
• Responsible for preparation, review and submission of materials submittal and get it approval;
• Responsible for As-Built drawing production, review & submission in coordination with construction team;
• Raise “Request of information-RFI” to MC or engineer as required to clarify of engineering issue;
• Coordinate with QAQC team in preparation and submission of related Method Statement, operation & Maintenance Manuals;
• Ensure all the related engineering records are maintained in format required by planning engineer.
• Ensure the preparation and review of design solution, which fully comply with all applicable design / Client requirements, with design standards, codes of practice and good engineering principles to agreed time, cost and quality requirements.
• Ensure that shop drawings are in proper presentation and are in line with authority requirement;
• Assist management in preparing of letters required in coordination and project record; Assist commercial team in tracking RFI having possible claim;
• Coordination with PD I PM / Engineering team (BIM & Mech) / Construction team and QAQC / commercial & Subcontractor and suppliers;
• Coordinate with the consultant for follow up of all submitted shop drawing & materials submittal until obtained consultant / Client approval.
• Maintain effective working relationship with other authorities/disciplines; Communicate with staff within appointed discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical
• 7+ years of experience.
